St Richard's Hospice, Celebration of Light and Love
22 November 2019
A Lights of Love service takes place at Worcester Cathedral on Friday 22nd November, 2:30pm and 6:30pm for 7pm and at St Richard’s Hospice, Wildwood Drive, Worcester on Thursday 19th December at 7pm
A celebration of light and love. St Richard’s Hospice is inviting local people to remember and celebrate their loved ones in the charity’s annual Lights of Love campaign.
The Lights of Love events hold a special place in the hearts of the community as people remember or celebrate loved ones with a dedication this Christmas. The festive season is a time when many reflect on the wonderful people who have touched their lives, particularly those who are loved and no longer with us.
Residents are invited to make a donation to support St Richard’s care, dedicate loved ones' names in the Books of Remembrance and let memories shine this Christmas.
Alternatively, everyone is welcome to join the services at 7pm, Great Malvern Priory, Malvern.
The Lights of Love services and events are free to attend and open to everyone.
St Richard’s Hospice fundraiser Claire James said, “these moving community services are deeply comforting for those who attend. Many people joining the services have had family or friends cared for by the hospice.
“We find each service unites people in their shared experience of missing a loved one, while giving support and solace through lighting a candle and taking time to reflect.”
Lights of Love is sponsored by Fisher German.
