Cathedral Ferry Volunteers Needed
Wanted - volunteers to crew Worcester's oldest surviving ferry service across the River Severn.
The job involved rowing visitors and locals across the river on weekend afternoons during the summer months. Can there really be a more idyllic place to be a volunteer?
You need to be over 18 years old, reasonable able-bodied and willing to give up a few weekends of your time. You also need to enjoy being in a boat!
Our work also raises money for charity and since we began we've given away nearly £15,000 to many local causes. As well as regular donations to the cathedral and local hospices, volunteers can suggest charities of their own.
To find out more about joining the Cathedral Ferry, call Mark Glossop on 01905 333265, email firstname.lastname@example.org or come down to the ferry any weekend afternoon and have a chat with the ferryman on duty.
